The Bonny Prince Charlie is a coastal inn situated approximately 80 miles west of Inverness. It is named after Charles Edward Stuart, the Stuart claimant to the throne of Great Britain. Professor Hamilton Kift and Lord Palethorn stayed at the inn on January 17, 1878 before their expedition to the Hebrides.
