"Still, I lend you my axe. You swing her, you throw her, she thirsts for slaughter as much as I! Drink deep of demon blood, my proud beauty!"
Bloodmonath Skull-Cleaver begrudgingly offers his axe to Sir Dan.

The Axe, also known as the Battleaxe, is a recurring combination weapon in the MediEvil series.

Far stronger than Dan's arm, the Axe is otherwise a unique weapon that can be swung with a light attack, or thrown with a heavy attack. When thrown, it spins in a straight line toward its marked target and then returns to Sir Dan like a boomerang, cutting any obstacles that can be destroyed by bladed weapons in its flight path.
