History

It is alleged that Woden the Mighty called Sir Daniel Fortesque a "vacuum-headed chimp" during one of the hero's visits to the Hall of Heroes.[1]

MediEvil (1998 original)

The programmers behind the game had an alleged obsession with chimps. This eventually resulted in them getting a toy one which was dubbed Chunky Monkey, "the programming chimp."[2][3] It was included in the game's credits.

  1. In the French localisation of MediEvil: Resurrection, Woden doesn't call Sir Dan a chimp. He calls him a "gugusse," a term used to describe someone foolish.
