Chimpanzees, also simply known as chimps, were a species of great ape.

History

It is alleged that Woden the Mighty called Sir Daniel Fortesque a "vacuum-headed chimp" during one of the hero's visits to the Hall of Heroes.^[1]

Development

MediEvil (1998 original)

The programmers behind the game had an alleged obsession with chimps. This eventually resulted in them getting a toy one which was dubbed Chunky Monkey, "the programming chimp."^[2]^[3] It was included in the game's credits.
