Paul Darrow (born Paul Valentine Birkby; May 2, 1941 – June 3, 2019[1]) was an English actor best known for starring in the television series Blake's 7. He voiced Zarok and Jack of the Green in the first MediEvil. He reprised his role as Zarok in MediEvil: Resurrection, and also provided the voice of the Town Mayor. His voice recordings made for the original game were later reused in the 2019 remake of MediEvil.
Tributes
The 2019 remake of MediEvil was dedicated to his memory. The character of Professor Darrow in MediEvil: The Game Prequel was also named after him.[2]
