The Ghost Ship Captain is the overly zealous captain of The Ghost Ship. He overreacts to having a stowaway on board, forcing his crew to attack Sir Daniel Fortesque instead of simply reprimanding him and dropping him off at their next port. This leads to his doom, however, when Fortesque kills him with a pair of deck cannons the ship's now been controlled by Dan.

Sir Dan attacks the Captain.Added by SomarinoaThe Captain is apparently very stupid and oblivious to what's going on around him; he simply paces back and forth as Fortesque fires cannons directly over him, and never closes distance with the one-eyed would-be hero; however, he does have a small contingent crew who try and stop Fortesque from firing the cannons. They will eventually collapse and reanimate even if you don't touch them, but they will do significant amounts of damage to you if you leave them alone, so it is advisable that you drop them quickly when they are up. Very little strategy is needed to kill the Captain himself - simply light your Club on the bonfire (or use the Dragon Armour) and constantly light the cannons to fire them until the Captain has fallen. He starts out with 400 hit points and each cannonball that strikes him deals 50 hit points worth of damage, just like The Dragon. Therefore you must hit him 8 times to bring him down. Much like the Pirate Officer, once the captain dies the crewmen trying to stop you will die with him, although the captain is dead some of the red skeleton pirate still alive and will attack Dan,they still think that their captain is not yet been killed, other pirate like blue skeleton pirate and yellow skeleton pirate will also attack Dan but unlike red skeleton pirate, when they die they will never respawn.
