    The Energy Counter was a part of the HUD in earlier versions of MediEvil. It served as a counter for Energy Bones before being replaced with the Life Bar.

    It could hold up to 99 Energy Bones at once. If it reached zero, a Life would be removed from the Life Counter, resetting the Energy Counter to three Energy Bones, unless the Life Counter reached zero, which would result in a Game Over.
