The Vulture is an animal that comes to Sir Dan's aid twice.

    History

    MediEvil

Though initially interested in Dan only as a source of food, the Vulture develops a special bond with him.[1.1] It saves Dan from the Jabberwocky and later saves him from falling to his second death after the destruction of Zarok's Lair.

    Behind the scenes

    Symbolism

For Ancient Egyptians, vultures symbolised the eternal cycle of death and rebirth due to their ability to transform the “death” they feed on – i.e. carrion and waste – into life.[2]
