When equipped with a ranged weapon such as a bow, a green sprite (or a family of green sprites in MediEvil: Resurrection) will appear to help Sir Dan succesfully hit his targets. The sprite flies ahead of Sir Dan, leaving a green trail as it seek out adversaries.

In MediEvil: Resurrection, whenever an enemy comes within targeting range, their color will change to red.
