In addition to the Zombies and Ghouls we've come to know and love, you'll meet the straight-jacketed crazy. These guys are amped on adrenaline and, most likely, a concoction of Asylum "vitamins." The asylum patients are insane enemies that run around while laughing, trying to hit Dan with their own heads. They can be easily defeated with a [[hammer]] or [[club]].

In early versions of the game such as the ''[[MediEvil Rolling Demo]]'' and the ''[[MediEvil ECTS Pre-Alpha]]'', Head Bangers appeared in [[The Asylum Grounds]] level.{{Gameref|RollingDemo}}{{Gameref|ECTSPreAlpha}} They were eventually removed from the level and placed in the new version of [[Inside The Asylum]].

Their facial texture is missing in all final versions of the game. The exact reason for its removal is unknown. It may have been removed to reduce the performance impact of having too many of the enemies on screen, or it was simply removed by mistake.
