The '''Sword''' is a recurring weapon type in the [[MediEvil (series)|''MediEvil'' series]]. Swords are basic melee weapons, ideal for slashing and stabbing targets at close range. As the preferred weapons of [[Sir Daniel Fortesque]], he is adept at using them to fell foes. When charged, Sir Dan will perform a spinning slash regardless of which sword he is using.
