The Magic Circle or the Magician's Circle was an organization created for the practice of magic or to further the knowledge of magic among its members. It was active in the late 19th century. The organisation seemed to be respected in London as Lord Palethorn joined it for that very reason.[1.1] Not much else is known about the Magic Circle, safe for the fact that its members were not allowed to practise Black Magic, as Lord Palethorn was expelled for doing so.[1.1]
