History
MediEvil: The Game Prequel
Sir Dan first encounters Griff after being led to him by Canny Tim. Griff explains to Dan that fairies are the Guardians of Fate and tasked with preserving the flow of history. He asks Dan to help him make sure that Dan's cowardly living counterpart dies in the first volley of arrows during the Battle of Gallowmere to thwart Zarok's plan to prolong the living Dan's life long enough to doom Gallowmere's troops.
