The Land of the Dead, also known as the Undiscovered Country,[1] was the final destination for the souls of the dead. The Boat Man was the one to ferry the souls there. The souls of dead heroes seemed to inhabit the Hall of Heroes instead, though it is unknown whether the Hall of Heroes was a part of the Land of the Dead or not.
