Gargoyles are enemies from MediEvil. They can be found in the Cemetery Hill level.
Involvement
They are brought to life by Zarok. They hurl boulders from their mouths to bar Dan's progress up the hill.
When Daniel reaches them in the original MediEvil, they lament over having failed Zarok and sacrifice themselves by exploding into pieces.
In MediEvil: Resurrection, they simply stop hurling bolders once Daniel reaches the top of the hill.
