Zarok's spell book

Zarok's spell book is a book of Black Magic and the main cause of events in the MediEvil games.

MediEvil and MediEvil: Resurrection

Some time after Dan's death, Zarok found this book of Black Magic. Using the spells within it, he plunged the land into eternal night, brought life to the inanimate and robbed the people of Gallows Town of their souls.

In MediEvil, Daniel can find the spell book lying on a lectern in the Entrance Hall level. He can only inspect it's content page, however.

MediEvil 2

The spell book turns up again in 1878, when Lord Palethorn and Professor Hamilton Kift locate its pages within an old tomb. Palethorn uses it in 1886 to bring the dead to life, but the pages of the spell book scatter before he can fully complete the spell. Daniel is awakened by the spell and manages to defeat Palethorn in the end.
