Mummies are enemies from MediEvil and MediEvil: Resurrection. In MediEvil, they are only found in The Gallows Gauntlet level. In Resurrection, they can be found in Dan's Crypt, Cemetery Hill, The Hilltop Mausoleum, and Return to the Graveyard.
They are mostly larger versions of zombies, only they move slightly slower, do much more damage to Dan (75 HP), and take many more hits to kill.
Description
Mummification after painful death was once all the rage in Gallowmere, and the persistence of these nasty characters in the realm provides a potent reminder of this fact. Tougher and more aggressive than your run-of-the-mill zombie, mummies should be respected at all times and not taunted about their raggedy bandages or embalming fluid smell. For the record, all mummies are extremely combustible and therefore should not be subjected to flame attack, unless that is one wants to see them dancing around on fire for several seconds before expiring.
Trivia
- A mummy is a deceased human or animal whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or accidental exposure to chemicals, extreme cold, very low humidity, or lack of air, so that the recovered body does not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.
