Story

Background

Canny Tim was a marksman of a crossbowman part of the cavalry led by Sir Dan, as well as his second in command. He killed Zarok's champion, Lord Kardok, in the Battle of Gallowmere by shooting him in the eye from a thousand yards away. He presumably met his demise during the battle.

MediEvilMediEvil: Resurrection

After collecting a Chalice of Souls, Daniel can speak to Canny Tim, who tells Dan of his glorious kill of Lord Kardok (which of course angers Dan, as he was killed by an arrow in the eye as well - not only that, but as the first death on the battlefield that day) and offers him his crossbow as aid and quickly takes back the remark. Once Dan collects another Chalice, he gives him a Life Bottle, without knowledge of its actual use.

In MediEvil: Resurrection, he never gives him a Life Bottle. Instead, he gives Dan the Hero's Crossbow after he collects 7 chalices.

Trivia

  • He is the only hero not mentioned in HEROES FROM HISTORY: A Retrospective, due to not being recognized as a hero outside the Hall of Heroes.
  • According to HISTORY OF GALLOWMERE - Volume 4, it is written that he died in the first volley of arrows (which is how Dan really died), meaning it's likely that the king switched the deaths between him and Dan.
  • "Canny" has several meanings, but given his English accent, it is likely intended as an affectionate nickname.
  • He treats Dan the kindest of the whole Hall Of Heroes, this might be because of him being his Second-in-Command.
