Captive Farmers
Farmers are characters and good souls from MediEvil and MediEvil: Resurrection. They were located in Gallowmere Plains (Resurrection) and The Haunted Ruins (both MediEvil and Resurrection) levels.

MediEvil / MediEvil: Resurrection
Three of the farmers were tied up with ropes under the roof by couple of Shadow Demons. When you arrived and the Shadow Demons races to the platform to sacrifice the farmers, use the best weapon the Lightning to kill the demons easily. After this, bash all the fires with your Club/Hammer to quench them. Release the farmers by stepping on the platform and follow them to reward you three Treasure Chests.
In Resurrection, the farmers appeared in Gallowmere Plains at Lazy Farm, asking a favor for two mini-games.
