In all versions, one can equip Dan with a [[Club]] or the [[War Hammer]] to smash the off-colour wall. The goodies in here may include some gold, [[Energy Vial]]s, or another Life Bottle. Exit the same way as before, and Dan will complete the level with a coveted green check mark.

In ''Resurrection'', there is another off-colour wall; smash this one to reveal a hidden mummy. Beat it to fill the [[Chalice of Souls]] for the area. The [[Spade]] from [[Return to the Graveyard]] will help dig it out.

Dan's Crypt is the introductory field level in both MediEvil (1998) and its 2019 reimagining. It was also given a slight rework in MediEvil: Resurrection.

Here, the player will be introduced to Sir Daniel Fortesque and will be given an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the land of Gallowmere and moving the newly-revived knight around the field.
