The Sword is a recurring weapon type in the MediEvil series. Swords are basic melee weapons, ideal for slashing and stabbing targets at close range. As the preferred weapons of Sir Daniel Fortesque, he is adept at using them to fell foes. When charged, Sir Dan will perform a spinning slash regardless of which sword he is using.
