'''Wartilda''',{{Gameref|MED2019}}{{Gameref|MED2019-Bestiary|Pumpkin Witch}} more commonly known as the '''Pumpkin Witch''', was a friendly witch of [[Gallowmere]]. She considered herself a stepmother to pumpkins and was keen on [[Dragon Gem]]s.

===13th century===

In 1286, a witch called Wartilda was recruited by her friend [[Noreen]] to help [[Sir Dan]] brew a [[Body Swap Potion]]. However, it is unknown whether this was the same Wartilda as the Pumpkin Witch.

===14th century===

100 years later, [[Sir Daniel Fortesque|Dan]] could summon Wartilda using the [[Witch Talisman]] when standing near her cauldron. She asked Dan to teach the [[The Pumpkin King|Pumpkin King]] a ''lesson'' and promised to reward him well for it. After he had defeated the creature, she gave Dan a [[Dragon Gem]].

Wartilda had two distinct sides to her personality: Cloying, motherly and sickeningly twee, mixed with a cunning and nasty witchiness!
