Take note of the books lying open around Sir Dan's Crypt. Throughout Gallowmere, you will find similiar books that might be of interest. Some are history books, telling the story of Gallowmere. Some offer advice and hints designed to help with your quest. Whenever you see a book, stand in front of it, then press the [[File:PSB-X.png|link=|alt=]] button. If necessary, use the UP/DOWN directional buttons to scroll through the text.
