Gargoyles are enemies from MediEvil. They can be found in the Cemetery Hill level.
Involvement
MediEvil / MediEvil: Resurrection
They are brought to life by Zarok. They hurl boulders from their mouths to bar Dan's progress up the hill.
When Daniel reaches them in the original MediEvil, they lament over having failed Zarok and sacrifice themselves by exploding into pieces.
In MediEvil: Resurrection, they simply stop hurling boulders once Daniel reaches the top of the hill.
Trivia
- Gargoyles in MediEvil are one of the several enemies capable of speaking,; three others are Boiler Guards, Pirate Crew (in MediEvil), and Pirate Officers (in Resurrection).
