    This page documents all the Cheats in MediEvil across different versions and what they do. Upon successfully entering a cheat code, a zombie sound effect is played.

    Codes

    Retail build cheat codes

    PAL

    The following cheat codes work in the PAL region versions of the game, including the English, French, German, Italian and Spanish versions.

    Cheat Mode
    DUST TO DUST.
    Hold L2 button and press DOWN, UP, Square button, Triangle button, Triangle button, Circle button, DOWN, UP, Square button, Triangle button.
    Open the Pause Menu to see the newly unlocked options.
    Extended Cheat Mode

    Bypass SCEx Copy Protection
    DUST LUST.
    Hold L2 button and press DOWN, UP, Square button, Triangle button, LEFT, UP, Square button, Triangle button.
    The game will now let you progress to the next level.

    Before Preview Only

    The below cheat works from build 0.28 up to build 0.31.

    Extended Cheat Mode
    STOUT LORD.

    Cheat Mode

    CHEATS
    Complete Level Completes the current level.
    Invulnerability: No​ /Yes Makes Dan invulnerable.
    Chalice: ​No / Yes Gives Dan the Chalice.

    Extended Cheat Mode

    Restart Restarts the level.
    Go to new level* Takes you to the next level.
    Go to level:* The Graveyard Takes you to the specified level.
    Go to land-map:* Takes you to the map of Gallowmere.
    View FMV: TitleAV-14AV View any FMV of your choice.
    SOUND TEST
    Music: 0-37 Listen to any music of your choice.
    Speech: 0-155 Listen to any of the speeches in the game.
    Test Sound: 0-125 Listen to any of the sounds in the game.
    CAMERA
    Plugin Type: 0-29 Changes the camera view.
    CHEATS
    Super Cheat Turns on invulnerability, gives Daniel all the items and unlocks all levels.
    Complete Level Completes the current level.
    Stored Energy: 0-2700 Gives Daniel the chosen amount of stored energy.
    Invulnerability: No​ /Yes Makes Dan invulnerable.
    Inventory item: None Gives you the inventory item of your choice.
    Gold Pieces: 0-5000 Gives Daniel the specified amount of Gold Pieces.
    Chalice: ​No / Yes Gives Dan the Chalice.
    DEBUG
    Just Dan Removes all objects from the level except for Dan.
    Testcard:* No​ /Yes Shows a test card on the screen.
    Show VRAM* Shows what is currently in VRAM. Control using the D-pad.

    *Appears in early development builds only.
