Books appear in each MediEvil game. They're scattered across the games' levels and may contain hints, jokes or background information about the game.

Behind the scenes

Development

In early prototype versions of MediEvil, the majority of books in the game were actually Information Gargoyles. Books only appeared in a few locations, such as The Sleeping Village library and Zarok's study in The Entrance Hall.
