Headless Zombies
Headless Zombies are enemies from MediEvil and MediEvil: Resurrection. They can be found in Cemetery Hill, Return to the Graveyard, and Inside the Asylum levels. A more deranged version of the original zombies that you usually encounter, they will charge at Dan on sight at a very high speed, they are slightly stronger than other zombies and will take longer to dispatch. The best way to be rid of these creatures is to take them down as fast as possible before they become a nuisance.

Description
MediEvil
In addition to the slow and dim-witted zombies, there are a few ghouls running around the cemetery looking to gnaw on your bones. Once they spot you, these guys will come at you in a mad dash. If they miss, they will hit the nearest object and fall flat on their face(s). You can use Dan's handy side-step maneuver against them if you like, moving out of the way at the last second when they dash at you. Give them a few sword swipes when they get in close proximity, or after they have fallen, but be prepared to take a couple of hits.
MediEvil: Resurrection
The lack of head (and hence one presumes also brain) has not prevented these aggressive characters from perfecting a devastating charge attack. This shoulder butt can impart tremendous damage, and so the perceptive adventurer should focus on sidestepping each stampeding assailant before rounding on them to attack fast with the melee weapon of his choice.

Trivia
- In an early incarnation of MediEvil, they were going to appear in The Graveyard level.
- They appeared in the Pumpkin Gorge level in the MediEvil trailer featured on the PlayStation Plus Video Preview '97 VHS. However, just like the zombies, they never made it into the final game release.
- They are called "Ghouls" in MediEvil's official guide book. However, they are not to be confused with the enemies of the same name.
