MediEvil: Resurrection features a multiplayer mode for 2 players. These let players compete for a high score or best time in the game's mini games as well as a race mode through select levels of the game.
Game Types
Race Mode
Race Mode lets players race through 8 of the game's levels. The goal of this mode is to get to the end of a level as fast as possible while collecting checkpoints and slaying enemies to fill the Chalice. Missing a checkpoint or not filling the Chalice completely incurs a time penalty on the player. The following levels are available in Race Mode:
- The Graveyard
- Cemetery Hill
- Scarecrow Fields
- Pumpkin Gorge
- Inside the Asylum
- Pools of the Ancient Dead
- Haunted Ruins
- Ghost Ship
Pit o' Death: Speed
In this game type, players play a random Pit o' Death challenge stage trying to achieve the fastest completion time by killing all enemies quickly.
Pit o' Death: Endurance
In this game type, players play a random Pit o' Death challenge stage trying to survive for as long as possible.
Guardian o' the Bell
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Arrow o' Fate
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Trebuchet o' Terror
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Shepherd's Delight
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Vermin Control
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Whack-a-Zarok
Players compete in a random challenge stage of this mini game.
Trivia
- Weapon Master, Duck Shoot and Ghoul Shoot mini games are not available in multiplayer.
- Dan's Crypt, Hilltop Mausoleum, Return to the Graveyard, Gallowmere Plains, Welcome to the Sleeping Village, Sleeping Village, Enchanted Forest, Scurvy Docks, Dragon Island, Zarok's Lair and the Hall of Heroes are not available in race mode.
