The Dying warrior statue was a pedimental sculpture from a temple in Greece.
History
19th century
Several mural recreations of the sculpture appeared on the walls of the Great Museum in Kensington, London in 1886.[1]

The Dying warrior is a pedimental sculpture from the Temple of Aphaia on the island of Aegina in Greece. It is currently on display in the Glyptothek in Munich.
