Daniel Wigginbottom Fortesque III^[a] was a member of the Fortesque family and the third of his name. He may have been named after Daniel Wigginbottom Fortesque I or Daniel Wigginbottom Fortesque II. Sir Daniel Fortesque, the Hero of Gallowmere, would also bear the name.^[1]
