Cemetery Hill is the third level in the Any% category of the original MediEvil. The goal of this level is to reach the exit. You will not collect any items.

Walkthrough

Tip: Right after the initial cutscene, the camera will look at Dan from the top, a little on his back. You can prepare the analog stick to move Top-Right to move Dan in the correct direction towards the passage, before the camera gets into the regular position looking at Dan from behind.

1. Enjoy the unavoidable cutscene at the beginning of this level. Make sure to skip Zarok's monologue.
2. As you gain control of Dan, run outside the starting area towards the lava pool.
3. Get on the winding path by passing on the right side of the lava pool. Be careful, boulders will start appearing on the path very soon.
4. Start going up, making sure to time your jumps on the stairs that you find along the way.

Tip: Hug the wall on the winding path to avoid the falling boulders. If you are getting hit, you can jump to avoiding them more easily.

5. When you reach the boulder gargoyles at the top of the hill, watch the short cutscene.
6. As soon as it ends, run towards the exit and leave the level.

Shortcut: You can skip the gargoyles' cutscene using a glitch. It will save you a few seconds, but it is not very easy to perform. Ignore this if you're struggling with it. Just before the last stairs, you will see a tree branch growing from the ground. There's an almost invisible step that you can jump on onto the wall, to then jump on the branch. As you reach the branch, do not move, wait for Dan to stabilize, or he will fall back down. Jump to the top of the hill. From the very top, run past the gargoyles, keeping to the right side of the area. If you get too close to the center, you will trigger the cut-scene.
