9AV is the tenth FMV in MediEvil. It is played before The Ghost Ship level.

    Summary

After his narrow escape from the fiery haunted ruins of Castle Peregrin via catapult, Sir Dan finds himself near a circle of standing stones. There, he is noticed and begins to be chased by the legendary chicken-dragon hybrid known as the Jabberwocky.

Dan has nowhere left to go.

Some time later, the chase comes to an end at the cliffside with Dan having nowhere left to run. A vulture circles above him.

    The chase is nearly over.

As Dan watches the Jabberwocky catch up to him, he is alerted by his friendly earthworm Morten to the vulture, who is now lunging at them. Dan is grabbed by the vulture just in the nick of time; in a final attempt to catch Dan, the Jabberwocky plunges over the cliff and into the waters below.

The vulture flies off with Sir Dan in tow. Some time later, it drops Dan off on a flying galleon manned by a skeletal pirate crew.

PLEASE NOTE: This section refers to content that is not present in the final versions of the game due to being cut, removed or repurposed.

The FMV was originally two FMVs, 9AV and 10AV, that would have played before and after a cut level called The Silver Wood, where Dan would have had to run from the Jabberwocky.[1]
