    • Bob and Barn MediEvil 2 A rumour spreads about a potential remake of MediEvil 2 being in the works after Andrew Barnabas makes some "cryptic" comments on Twitter.[1] He later clarifies what he meant, dispelling the rumour.[2]

    • Bob and Barn MediEvil 2019 icon.png Andrew Barnabas confirms on Twitter that a standalone version of the MediEvil remake's soundtrack is in the works.[5]
  • May 25 - June 8:
    • MediEvil 2019 icon.png The MediEvil remake is on sale as part of Sony's Days of Play 2020 promotion in Europe, New Zealand, Australia and other select regions.[6]
  • June 3 - June 17:
    • MediEvil 2019 icon.png The MediEvil remake is on sale as part of Sony's Days of Play 2020 promotion in the US.[7]
  • July 8 - July 22:
    • MediEvil 2019 icon.png The MediEvil remake is available to purchase for 50% off as part of the July Savings promotion.[8]
  • July 11:
    • ProBoards The MediEvil Boards are taken over by a hostile third party and all threads are erased. Thankfully, the boards are successfully retaken by the moderation team and an effort to rebuild the forum begins.[9]

    • MediEvil Jaxler speedruns the original MediEvil during the European Speedrunner Assembly (ESA) Summer Online event.[11]

    • MediEvil: Resurrection desa speedruns MediEvil: Resurrection at AGDQ 2023.[48]
  • January 17:
    • PlayStation Plus icon.png Everybody's Golf 2 (known as Hot Shots Golf 2 in North America) is re-released on PS4 and PS5 through the PS Plus Premium service.[49] The game features Sir Dan as a playable character.

    • Clive 'N' Wrench is released. It contains several MediEvil easter eggs.[50]

    • SCEE Cambridge Studio MediEvil Jason Wilson, one of the co-creators of MediEvil, decides to sell his archive of the game's art and design materials due to financial difficulties.[52]
  • May 15:
    • SCEE Cambridge Studio MediEvil A buyer is found for Wilson's archive. Wilson promises his work will be "restored and archived."[53]
  • May 20:
    • MediEvil 2019 icon.png The MediEvil remake is available at half price "for a limited time."[54]
  • May 22:
    • Bring Your Own Class, a modification for Doom II, is released. One of the available playable characters in the mod is Sir Dan.[55]

    The second is where is the official soundtrack to MediEvil 2019? There’s versions on YouTube but no official soundtrack on digital or physical form (the last physical OST for Resurrection sold out years ago.) The simple answer is it’s complicated! Sony America released Med PS4 whilst Sony Europe released the 3 prior games and since the PS4 version contains new versions of music from earlier games this has created problems. There’s light at the end of the tunnnel! A possible solution has been suggested as of Jan ’23 so we’re hopeful that this may well see the light of day.     We understand it has been awhile and our communication has been sparse. We have had our heads down trying to solve all of our production issues. We have struggled deeply with all of our direct to customer licensed statues as they all were incredibly low run, highly limited pieces. This was impacted greatly by covid and the factory we chose for the vast majority of these statues has not been able to come back online as fast as we had hoped. Along with that they prioritize larger runs and ours have constantly been placed in the back of the queues over and over again. We had to scale back our business a significant amount and made some pretty big layoffs late last year.
    With all that said we have a path forward. We are being acquired by a larger collectibles and statue manufacturer. This will help expedite production on all delayed projects and hopefully deliver most projects this year. We will be updating each project individually over the coming weeks with as much info as we can add.
    We apologize for our lack of communication, we have been trying to get through these issues the best we can while making good on the projects you all ordered. We will be delivering this year and the quality will be what you all expect from us.
