Parliament is a level that was cut from MediEvil 2. According to Jason Wilson, the game's art designer, it was intended as the battle ground for fighting a monstrous version of Queen Victoria, the original final boss of the game. It was redesigned after the Queen was replaced by the Demon as the final boss.[2] Julian Rex, one of the game's programmers, mentioned a Prime Minister character may have featured in the level.[3]

The only references to the level in the final versions of the game are in its language text files.[1.1] However, the level is playable in the MediEvil 2 0.19 build of the game, although it seems to only feature the level map with placeholder textures.

    Landmarks

The level would have featured the area of London near the Houses of Parliament, including Westminster Bridge and Big Ben. A portion of the interior of the Houses of Parliament would have also been seen as part of the level.

    Notes

    1. Boss fights in MediEvil 2 are generally their own separate level, so it is likely Queen Victoria would have been fought in a level bearing her name that was separate from Parliament, e.g. Queen-zilla, Queen Victoria, The Queen, etc.
