The European Computer Trade Show 1998 was an event held at the Olympia London exhibition centre from September 6 to September 9.
MediEvil at ECTS 1998
- A demo of MediEvil was playable at the event at Stand G700.[1][2]
- As was the case for Tekken 3, Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, the PlayStation kiosks with the game were placed around a big statue of the game's protagonist enclosed within a spherical cage.[3]
- A demo disc featuring a MediEvil demo, and a MediEvil sticker kit for the PlayStation console were given away for free.[4][5]
- There was a MediEvil themed bar at the Sony party that took place after day two of ECTS. A coffin was allegedly stolen from said bar.[6]
- ECTS press CDs called Power Source were given out to members of the press. The first disc contained renders from MediEvil.
