Police-Constable Hallfield (fl. 1886) was a constable called upon by fellow constable Steven Hagger on duty in Brixton Hill on April 10, 1886. Hagger had Hallfield posted outside a derelict warehouse, from which Lord Palethorn emerged. Hallfield stopped Palethorn, but a struggle between them ensued. Hallfield was able to hold Palethorn until other officers came to provide reinforcement. The story was covered by issue number 666 of the Medievil Times newspaper which was published on April 21, 1886.
