Phil McCaven
Phil McCaven (fl. 1774) was a fisherman famed for catching the great Kraken off the coast of Bognor Regis in 1774. A presumably life-sized recreation of the creature he caught was on display in the Myths & Legends section of The Museum in Kensington some 112 years later.
