The Gorgons, in Greek mythology, were three monstrous sisters. They were sometimes depicted as having snakes for hair.
History
It is unknown whether gorgons ever actually existed. However, a gorgon's head appeared on the floor of the main room of Gallowmere's hilltop mausoleum.[1][2]
Characteristics
Appearance
The gorgon depicted on the floor of the hilltop mausoleum had four strands of hair which were snakes. She had sharp teeth and the eyes of a snake. She wore a circlet on her head.
