History

"You're biting the wrong guy, buddy!"
― Sir Dan, moments before stomping on a snake.

Snakes were depicted on the floor of the Hilltop Mausoleum in Gallowmere as part of a Gorgon's hair. They also appeared as part of what seemed to be a stained glass depiction of the Rod of Asclepius in the same location.[1]

Some accounts say that during the final confrontation between Sir Daniel Fortesque and Zarok the Sorcerer, the evil wizard transformed into a giant snake. These accounts also state that the Hero of Gallowmere suffered from a fear of snakes.[2]

Another account involving snakes saw Sir Dan visiting the tomb of his love, Princess Kiya, where he was set upon by a snake. The hero stomped the creature into a puddle of blood.[3]
