MediEvil: Resurrection features a multiplayer mode for 2 players. This lets players compete for a high score or best time in the game's mini games as well as a race mode through select levels of the game.
Game Types
Race Mode
Race Mode lets players race through 8 of the game's levels. The goal of this mode is to get to the end of a level as fast as possible while collecting checkpoints and slaying enemies to fill the Chalice. Missing a checkpoint or not filling the Chalice completely incurs a time penalty on the player. The following levels are available in Race Mode:
- The Graveyard
- Cemetery Hill
- Scarecrow Fields
- Pumpkin Gorge
- Inside the Asylum
- Pools of the Ancient Dead
- Haunted Ruins
- Ghost Ship
Pit o' Death: Speed
In this game type, players play a random Pit o' Death challenge stage trying to achieve the fastest completion time by killing all enemies quickly.
Pit o' Death: Endurance
In this game type, players play a random Pit o' Death challenge stage trying to survive for as long as possible.
