Griff was a fairy that enlisted Sir Dan's help in preserving the flow of history.
History
13th century
Sir Dan first encountered Griff after being led to him by Canny Tim. Griff explained to Dan that fairies are the Guardians of Fate and tasked with preserving the flow of history. He asked Dan to help him make sure that Dan's cowardly living counterpart died in the first volley of arrows during the Battle of Gallowmere. This would thwart Zarok's plan to prolong the living Dan's life long enough to doom Gallowmere's troops.
Characteristics
Appearance
Griff has a pierced eyebrow and a tattoo on his belly that reads 'NO REGERTS'.[1]
Behind the scenes
Development
Griff was originally developed as a character for the PS2 sequel to MediEvil 2, Fate's Arrow. He was going to lead the fairies in battle against the Hornets.[2]
