Trolls were beings in Nordic folklore, including Norse mythology. In Old Norse sources, beings described as trolls dwelled in isolated areas of rocks, mountains, or caves, lived together in small family units, and were rarely helpful to human beings.

    History

    14th century

It is unknown whether trolls ever truly existed. In Gallowmere, there was a pub in Gallows Town called Troll's Head.[1][2]
