Elephants were the largest living land animals. Distinctive features of elephants included a long proboscis called a trunk, tusks, large ear flaps, pillar-like legs, and tough but sensitive grey skin.
History
14th century
Although no elephants seemingly appeared in Gallowmere by the 14th century, a crossbreed between them and Dragons did - the Elephant Dragons.[1][1.1]
A hedge sculpture of an elephant also appeared in the Asylum Grounds.[2]
19th century
The Imps of a London Freakshow began building giant elephant-bots in 1886. The ghost of Winston Chapelmount believed that they would use the bots to storm the city. Luckily, the elephant-bots were destroyed by Sir Dan before that could happen.[3]
