A leitmotif is a musical "phrase" or melody, re-used in numerous music tracks to associate a tune with a person, event, or location.

Composed by Paul Arnold and Andrew Barnabas, the MediEvil series has only two leitmotifs:

    Quest for Vengeance

File:Medievil 1 Demo Soundtrack - The Hilltop Mausoleum
The leitmotif's full version as used for track IG2A's prototype version.

The most used leitmotif of the entire series. Composed since as early as 1997 prior to the first game's official release, the leitmotif was first used in MediEvil Rolling Demo as a prototype version of track IG2A.
