    The sand monsters were enemies who were going to appear in the scrapped Fields of Dust level of MediEvil. According to Chris Sorrell, Dan would have had to avoid the sand monsters while using rock platforms for safety.[1] While no official depiction of the sand monsters is publically available, the scrapped level's similarity to Tremors[1] suggests they were likely going to be large worm-like creatures, much like the Graboids.
