    Cut from

The Lake Lady is a character that was cut from MediEvil. Her model and textures can be found within a WAD of the MediEvil ECTS Pre-Alpha.[1][1.1] Based on her animation, it can be surmised that the Lake Lady would have risen from the middle of the lake and presented Sir Dan with the trident. However, she does not appear in the WAD for The Lake or any other level, suggesting she may have already been cut by September 1997.

    Characteristics

    Appearance

The Lake Lady was a young woman who wore a long green skirt seemingly made of seaweed and adorned with green jewels. She wore a headdress which connected with a bra, both also adorned with green jewels. She seemed to have dark brown hair and fair features. In her hands she held the trident, which she was happy to give away to a hero.

    Inspiration

The Lake Lady is based on the Lady of the Lake, a character from Arthurian legend. Appearing in her lake, she grants King Arthur the sword Excalibur and its special scabbard.
