The Fields of Dust is a level that was cut from MediEvil.[1] Chris Sorrell, the game's producer, described the level as being similar to the Tremors films - the only safe spots in the level would be rocks, and Sir Dan would have to dash through dusty fog, avoiding sand monsters in search of the next rock.[2]

Concept art suggests that the level would have taken place after the Pumpkin Gorge, while the level order in the MediEvil Rolling Demo places it after the Scarecrow Fields, with the Ant Caves coming after.[1]
