Maggots are enemies that were removed from MediEvil. They were to feature in the Scarecrow Fields and Pumpkin Gorge levels. As their name suggests, they are large maggot creatures. They were capable of burrowing underground, and after erupting from the ground, they would spit projectiles at Dan.

    Characteristics

    Appearance

Maggots are giant segmented creatures with suckers covering the front of their body. They have a pair of mandibles on their head.

    Gameplay

It is possible to hack a Maggot into the game as their entity is present in the PG overlay and their textures and model are in the Pumpkin Gorge VLO and WAD respectively. However, they don't seem to be fully implemented, as they do not burrow into the ground, only thrash around in place. Killing a Maggot awards Dan with 125 points.

    Animations

Maggots have six animations in total.
