The Spade was an item useful for digging up graves.
History
Sir Dan found many spades across his journey, which proved useful on several occasions, as he had to dig up a piece of the Anubis Stone out of the Mullock Chief's memorial in the Graveyard, and later, a wooden leg in a pirate graveyard.
Gameplay

The spade is used to dig up graves, to find items or treasure buried in them. It is required to get a piece of the Anubis Stone in Return to the Graveyard, a wooden peg leg in Scurvy Docks and the chalice in Dan's Crypt.
