Mechadeath Parts were items which came together to form Mechadeath, Death's robotic assistant. Sir Dan had to collect all six parts in order for Death to take him to the Haunted Ruins.

History

Sir Dan's path to the haunted ruins of King Peregrin's castle was blocked by the Pools Of The Ancient Dead where a great battle was once fought. Luckily for Dan, his ally Death was willing to ferry him to the ruins, but only after Dan gathered up all parts of his robotic assistant who had blown up.

Gameplay

"My new robotic assistant, Mechadeath has just blown up. I'd set him off to clear up this battlefield when suddenly there's an almighty bang, and machine parts are raining down everywhere. I KNEW I shouldn't have bought second hand. Do me a favour and gather up the pieces, would you? I've got to go and fill out a warranty card…"
― Death, asking Dan to collect Mechadeath parts.

Parts of Mechadeath are scattered throughout the level. Dan needs to collect all parts to complete the level.

Development

Mechadeath Parts serve as a replacement for the Soul Helmets that Dan had to collect for the Boat Man in the original game.
