Next level 14. The Muddy Riverbank[1]

The River is a level that was cut from MediEvil.[1] It was going to be the game's 13th level. It would have been the game's second swamp level, taking place directly after Pools Of The Ancient Dead and leading into The Muddy Riverbank. Concept art suggests the level would have involved Dan sailing a Dragon Boat down a river.

The level appears in the MediEvil ECTS Pre-Alpha. There are no enemies to fight or items to collect in this early iteration of the level. However, the level's VLO indicates that Armoured Knights and Fish Monsters would have appeared in the level.
